Understand your swap before signing.
Word Finance DEX quotes swaps from the reserves of its own pools on BNB Smart Chain. Choose a pool, connect MetaMask or a compatible EVM wallet, select the input token, and enter the amount. The 25%, 50% and Max controls use the selected token's wallet balance. Review the quote and any required token approval before confirming in your wallet.
Price impact and slippage
Price impact compares your trade with the price implied by the pool reserves and includes the 0.30% swap fee. Small pools can have large price movements even for small trades. The pool detail chart shows simulated post-trade price changes for inputs up to 30% of the input reserve, using bars or a curve. These are scenarios based on current reserves, not candles or historical prices.
Slippage sets the permitted change between review and execution. Raising slippage does not improve the price. Reducing the input amount can reduce price impact. A quote with impact of at least 5% requires an additional acknowledgement before review. The quote can change as other people trade.
Network fees and wrapped assets
Keep native BNB in your wallet for gas. WBNB is a separate BEP-20 token used by pools; having BNB does not automatically mean you have WBNB. The swap fee is 0.30%, split into 0.25% for liquidity providers and 0.05% for the protocol. There is no additional interface fee. Gas is separate and can be spent even if a transaction fails.
Check your wallet's transaction history and use the real transaction hash to recover its receipt before retrying. The interface checks the network, sender, destination and transaction data. Never assume that closing a wallet popup cancelled a transaction.
Share a pair, keep control of the trade
A shared pair link identifies the network, pool and token direction. It does not supply an amount, connect someone else's wallet or authorize a signature. Each person chooses their own amount. Verify token contract addresses and review wallet requests yourself. Never provide your seed phrase to a website.
BNB Mainnet is an experimental beta without an independent contract audit. Solana pools and Robinhood pool transactions are not active. Cross-chain swaps and aggregation of external DEX liquidity are not available in this version.
